The New York Post is reporting that President Donald Trump’s personal Twitter account will soon be shutting down.
Trump tweeted on Thursday that he will not be tweeting anymore and would instead use his Twitter account for the next month or so.
Trump has tweeted frequently in recent weeks about his health, but has been hesitant to go on Twitter about his personal health.
This will mark a drastic shift for Trump, who has struggled to keep his Twitter accounts up to date on a regular basis.
In a statement to CNN, Trump’s communications director Jason Miller said: “President Trump will continue to use Twitter for his personal communications, but he is not using it for public or professional communications.
He will not have Twitter accounts for his administration, campaign, or Cabinet, and his personal account will not allow him to engage in the personal Twitter activity he has become accustomed to.”
