The Hindu on Saturday announced that it will print the full names of “missing children” in the Hindu scriptures.
The new initiative will be implemented on the website of the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) on Saturday, the newspaper said in a tweet.
It said it will announce details of the project on Sunday.
The VHP had asked for a copy of the Book of Ram to be kept in the collection of the VHP-affiliated temple in Ahmedabad, where its members reside.
The VHP’s office has been vandalised in recent weeks.
The news comes days after the VSP released a video of the birth of a child in which he was identified as an “unknown” child.
The Hindu had earlier announced the name of a missing child, a girl who disappeared in May 2016, in a video on Facebook.
